Thanks for all the sincere welcomes guys! I am on a few other forums but that's perhaps the most passionate I've seen, which bodes well for my choice of bike!

Or perhaps it's the difference between car forums/owners and bike forums

I am also still at the 'grin to myself when another biker nods' stage. When did that last happen in a car? More like the old nescafe shake for driving a BMW

Look forward to getting acquainted with the bike, the site and the people

She's a beut', top choice. My brother bought an NC35 which is a nice little bike but he's now chopping it in after 4 months after havin a go on my m750... ENJOY!

Open the airbox and install a free flow air filter, a set of open cans and a pair of FCR41 carbs, perhaps hi copm pistons too, and redefine your idea of quick yet again. It's not the hands coming off the bars that's the problem, it's the front wheel leaving the tarmac. Lovely

£800 well spent . . .
