Very nice Flattop, I haven't heard much grateful dead - a bit before my time, but I will rectify that, I tend to listen to Planet rock mostly, but any kind of rock music is cool with me (if it's not rock - it's not music!!) everything from ACDC to ZZ Top, my current favourites are QOTSA & Greenday their last couple of albums were amazing

I’ve got most of the early AC/DC albums in Vynyl when the late great Bon Scott was in the band and I’ve got all the early ZZ top before they got famous great albums like Deguilo Fandango and Tres Hombres some really good tracks on those little gems.

Doggy I’ve not heard of Imagine Dragons & Ben Howard but will be sure to check them out, I’m a big Hawkwind fan and Steve Hillage fan but it’s an age thing I’m stuck in the 70s and 80s lol.

Sometimes I go days with that tune playing over and over in my head but I never listen lol.

My favourite Hawkwind album is Warrior on the edge of time 1975 I still listen to it a lot amazing that they are still going after all these years.

I’ve seen most of those bands I remember when Van Halen were new on the scene and supported Black Sabbath in lewisham I really enjoyed this era of music could go on for ages about it.

Dirty I don’t how you find stuff like that shocking that lead singer needs a dose of Senokot

I can go with that. I must dig my copy out: 12" black vinyl in a fold out shield sleeve.

My favourite though was the Roadhawks live set.

Mike is quite correct I have 100s of hours of live Dead recordings, if you've got 3 hours to spare have a listen to the Grugahalle concert from March 28th 1981 which you can stream free online it's one of my favourites.

30000 songs on my iPod so a fairly broad selection other than the Dead!

That’s a lot of Grateful Dead a proper Dead head I’ve still got the Grateful Dead movie on VHS with the animated start which is one of the best starts to anything you could ever see.

It’s quite hard to get into modern day bands when these greats of the past produced all this fine music I’m a big Zappa fan as well.
