Phase 1 welding now complete
R/H Rocker boss in place, L/H Access Tube and associated tie tubes. L/H Rocker boss now positioned with support hoops ready for new X-Tube. 25mm Shortened Ohlins DU832 (DU440) shock back from K-Tech Phase 2 Welding now underway - more updates next week.... Weekly update.
Phase 2 welding complete S2R Suspension setup & swingarm mounted up - all coming together slowly, but surely. Phase 3 underway: Additional tank rails for the 996 Tank. More photos next week....    Last edited by sparkyman; 13-07-2016 at 07:55 PM.. |

...been a while since last posted, steady progress each week but a lot of hours now going into making a plug for the seat unit ...
Tank posts & rails in place, subframe bosses added;  Modified 848 Alloy subframe in place;  Tail light unit offered up;  748 Mono & modified seat pan - Ply formers underway for tail cone  ready for final formers, foam & skinning  Last edited by sparkyman; 11-09-2016 at 12:49 PM.. |

Yes....it's been three years since last posting. Unfortunately work & house got in the way of everything and the build was put on the back burner...temporarily !
Now pulled back out of retirement and work commenced again, so wondering if any posters on this 2016 thread are still active on the forum and would like to see the build progress once again ? |
