Lowered Seat For Sale
My bike has come with a lowered seat but I ideally want a normal seat on my bike (6ft1, makes it a bit cramped)
Open to offers or swaps for standard seat. It's on a 1997 M750 but obviously fits other models. Thanks. |

A pic would help.
There are two types of seat fitted to early /original style monsters. The seat latch is different, and the fit to the tank is also slightly different (as the tank is also, but you'd not notice at a glance). Also, I would say that I'm 6ft 1.5ins and have had a Corbin seat on mine for a year or so. This is lower than the std seat, but I've not had any trouble with cramping. Mind you, the thing that makes the most difference to that is the rearsets. And so my advice would be, if you are likely to want to fit rearsets at some stage, do that first before changing the seat. Or at least consider rearsets as well. ps. note that I also have flat bars replacing the std items .. this may make some difference to the cramping, but not a lot. And I'm skinny enough to be able to handle a little cramping anyway. |

If the seat fits the '97 model correctly then it should fit all Monsters from 1993 to 1999.

Only picture I've got on hand, haven't got a standard seat to compare to, but if you look at the seam that runs along the side you'll see it's approx 1" lower than a standard seat and sits lower against the tank. |

Finally got a brand new replacement seat so this is up for grabs.
Has a little wear where the seat cover has been sat but no other damage. Lowers seat by what feels like just over an inch. (seat of the pants estimate ) Open to sensible offers cheers! |
