How long do points last?
Firstly - hello all, I've been offline and off the road for a while, hope to catch up with you guys in the comming months (fingers crossed)

3 years in terms of the law (not insurance companies they differ),and can be removed from lience after 4.

yeah, my insurance company is asking how many convictions in the last five years. Is this about the norm? |

Yeah thats the standard question i think, the time points are on your licence and the time insurance compaies worry about it are two different things

Make sure you dont forget to tell them about your points too, because once you have your insurace with them and if you didnt inform em of any points and they find out later,!!! they can then demand any kind of sum off of you, got u over a barrel so to speak.

Cool I can apply for my licence now!! The new fangled ID card rubbish one, not an actual licence. Though some people think I don't have one
