Museum Live Sat 26th October

Moco1961 and myself are planning to meet up at the National Motorcycle Museum to chat about club stuff and other cosmic matters. Others who have heard about this are coming along too.
It would seem like a fun thing to do, to make it an excuse for a club gathering.

https://www.nationalmotorcyclemuseum...y/museum-live/

Note that this is a free event and motorcycle parking is free, but cars are charged £10 to park, so think about car sharing if it's too nasty to ride.

Sorry about two of the featured guests...Hang on why should I apologise for them?

Sounds a cracking idea Gary. I'm up for a bimble, coffee plus nose around the museum.

What time have you in mind to meet at the museum?

I'm going to wait till nearer the time to gauge the weather.
If we go on bikes, it can be more of a saunter as they will squeeze bikes in anywhere (and everywhere), but car parking will be a premium I imagine, so an early arrival would be preferable to save a long walk from any overspill they might have arranged.

I'll try and find out what the carparking arrangements are and it will make it easier to plan.

Great stuff.. Looking like a good crowd already.

I had a word with a nice lady from the Museum today, parking cars turns out to be no problem, with two overspill areas on site, so no crazy early start needed to get a space.
It's a three hour journey for me, so 10.30am sounds reasonable to aim at.

Maybe we should arrange a club meet up at some point during the day, say for lunch or something? I dare say we will run into one another anyway.

its about 140 miles from deepest suffolk & it looks like about 10.30 arrival-ish depending on a couple of meet ups on the way...

Very much looking forward to seeing everybody.. A nice out of season opportunity for a National meet up.
Really disappointed with what the weather has come up with. I was looking forward to a nice ride. Hey ho, maybe I will be able to get a ride in November.

Let's try and meet up for lunch.
