We can take loads of photo's to show you if that'll help stevie?

If the show of enthusiasm and support is anything to go by then I imagine we'll be doing it again, you can always come to the next one!
There's nothing to say we can't have another weekend do sometime over the summer - you'll have to send me a list of your holiday dates!

While I'm here I'd just like to say thanks to everyone, we weren't sure what the response to this was going to be like and both dazzi and myself have been really surprised at how many names are on the list already. It's great to see so much support so early on. Even if some of you can't come, it's encouraging to know that you would if you could!

I've once stopped for coffee in the watermill. I think it's the one on what used to be the A1, if it is you can expect Alan Partridge to walk into the bar.
There's a nice place near Sherburn, but I can't recall it's name. As a B&B i's probably a lot cheaper than the mill.

And Lex, Leeds is too far sarf for me, but they have a decent harvey nicks. as for the room, I think we should check with Squires. Free camping is a bonus, a room with a view is always better.

Dazzi, you live there. How about a list of places in the village?

I am thinking about coming with my daughter, but would I be allowed on the B*W? I think it would be easier to bring pillion and camping gear on that rather than on the Monster?

Singletrack.......

If you want to use the BM then that's fine

The same goes for everyone, even turn up in the car if you like (offsite car park during the day, onsite parking once visiting bikes have left)

This is primarily a charity/social event so people can turn up on/in what ever they like

Colton and Whitkirk are both about 6 miles away - a bit too far out really.

dazzi-b is going to post a list of nearby accommodation in the next couple of days.

To save trawling through the whole thread, I'll post any additional important details on my first post then it's all in one place.

This list gets more impressive every day! Well done you lot!

Squire's is about 15 miles out of Leeds in a lovely rural setting, if you go back to my original post and click on where it says "Squire's Cafe" in big blue letters it'll take you to their website
