Looking for a BIN file

Hi all, I'm looking for the BIN file 96508702B.

I have a 2002 Ducati Monster S4. I have an open air box and a set of Termignoni's ready to be put on. I just need the right bin file to flash into a ecu. I have both 5AM and 59M ecu's available so if the file is 320kb's or 256kb's I have an ecu that'll fit.

Much appreciated!

Is TunerPro any good for you? There is Ducati map for S4 Tuner Pro XDF here: -

Have you had a look in here?

Sorry, just realised they are all hex files.

Thanks Darren, this is what I use to read/write BIN files but there are only XDF files at the bottom unfortunately. It does have the correct XDF file should I need it for the BIN file though as long as the BIN file is for a 59M ecu.

I forgot about this list. If the 02 S4 DP map was on here I'd make it work.

If the 96508702B BIN file is specific to the ECU it is loaded on then it should be for the 5AM as that is the part number given to the DP ECU with that Map on.

There's one on Ebay: -

Thanks, that's an option. If worst comes to worst I can probably send one of my ecu's out to be flashed. I do have a file for an 01 S4 but they had a mechanical speedo I believe. It would work overall except the speedo I think.

I have an '02 S4 Fogarty which all came fitted with the wrong '01 DP chip from Ducati. Everything works fine but only one fan will work because the '02 has 2 drivers in the ECU and the '01 has only one. That's the only difference afaik. Speedo works fine. It was while investigating the non-functioning fan that I found all this out.

I remember reading reading about the wrong ecu issue with the 02 Fogarty’s. Good to know about the fan. Did you solve the issue or do you just run with 1 fan? I mentioned the speedo b/c I thought the 01 S4’s had a mechanical speedo and the 02’s don’t.

You wouldn’t have a copy of your ecu on your computer would you🙂

Yea, I just run it with the 1 fan. Since fitting an oil cooler it very rarely gets much about 90C even on the hottest days now anyway, before that it would be over 100C.

The '01 does have a cable driven speedo but it must be in the '01 ECU too the speedo on the '02 is driven by a sensor on the rear wheel and works fine.

I don't have the files on my PC unfortunately and I seem to have misplaced by diagnostic leads too, can't find them anywhere.

Thanks for the info Darren69, I think I'll give the 01 S4 BIN file a go. I just had arthroscopic knee surgery last week so I'll wait a week or 2 before flasing a ecu, installing and tuning.
