Won't Go
Hi all, I have a bit of a problem with my heap. Had a bit a of a revamp about a year ago, which I never really finished, since then life has been a bit full of other priorities, but Sunday finally put it to the top of the list. Started the engine no problem left it ticking over all good, blipping the throttle all normal, but put it into gear and go to pull away engines revs then dies. My thoughts were fuel starvation, so swapped the pump & injectors and pipes still the same. It really could be anything because just about everything has be taken apart/changed since I last rode it. i.e. sensors, ecu ect. Oh yes can anybody tell me about the air screws on the injector throttle bodies, I set mine at one turn out.
S2R 1000 lump, 2004 M1000 wiring loom, SS1000 DP ecu, manual cold start/fast tick over set up. Any thoughts, just need to exchange ideas because her indoors is bloody useless with bikes. Thanks Bitza.

on S4r in means richer and out is weaker on the air screws thats opposite to carbs ,, i would say 2 to 3 turns out is better have you reset the TPS properly as they can really affect running also is the bike charging 14.3volts and the battery in TOP condition as they run crap on low batteries also is fuel filter clean

You really want a gas analyser on the exhausts to make sense of them, normally you'd balance the throttle bodies with vacuum gauges, then even up the per cylinder CO exhaust readings with the bypass screws by setting them all the way in and gradually turning them outwards as required.

RESULT........swopped the TPS and suddenly the world's a wonderful place. Being a linear type I'm thinking that it needs to be reset via diagnostic software, so could get the throttles balanced at the same time I guess. Any recommendations for a Ducati specialist near me (Ashborne Derbyshire)

Yep, +1 for Cornerspeed. If it's a linear TPS the reset can be done easily through free software apps like DucDiag with some leads that cost about £20-25
