Hi from the Midlands!
Hi all, this is my second post... first one was in the wanted section!
I have a Ducati at the moment but I have always wanted a Monster... I kind of already have one, its a Multi Monster... it started life as a Multistrada but was damaged in a minor spill so I took the plastic off and rebuilt it over the winter. What I really want is an early monster though, as a tidy bike or a project for next winter... so the search is on! here are a couple of pictures of my current bike... |

Hello and welcome Buzzer.
You've done a nice job to that, much nicer than a standard Multi-Stroodle. A stroodle in the nudle!

Well the search for a bike as a winter project has ended... I have picked up the bike below, a 1997 M600. Its been at the back of the garage for over a month now, I promised my wife I wouldn't start it until we are back from Holiday in late September.... so I am itching to get started... not sure what to do with it yet, maybe a straight restoration back to standard, or a scrambler style. I know they make nice cafe racers but I want to keep this long term, so it needs to be easily rideable with my advancing years!

Looks very much like it to me.
I always did like that blue and chequered stripe colour scheme. Welcome along from a fellow midlander. |

Turns out that Perkles Monster was a 900 and was bought by Zimbo… Sadly no pictures of it seem to remain on this site!
Congratulations on your new Monster Buzzer..

Ah, yes.
I knew that actually. I have the black, Renthal flats that it used to wear. Traded with Zimbo for std bars. .... must be my age. I do like that colour scheme though. |
