53mm or 54mm???
I have 996 forks on the S4 cant remeber as the bike is in Thailand if its 53mm diameter for clamps or 54mm
my M750 has 54mm but i think the 996 sbk showa forks ar 53mm can anyone check as i a ordering a steering damper clamp

Yes, 916 models have 53mm forks at both top and bottom clamps (except for Ohlins which are 53 top, 56 bottom).

yep hyperpro kit for £355 on fleabay seems the best option ,, if i can save up before going to Thailand
