A dirty Gary Glitter? Surely not but there always maybe that one inciident on TOTPs? And I used to love its a knock out and Jim'll fix it as a kid. It seems that we've upset a few people on here by suggesting that Ducati is anything less than a perfectly run organisation above all contempt, and we should just roll over and take it how deluded could we be?

Ooops I posted on this thread too. Lets all get over it as its sorted now. Actually I fancy a factory visit in the near future myself with Caroline. I did it about 8 years ago with GT. The factory visit that is. good laugh , nice factory restaurant and then factory, museum and shop and then fast pizza's and fly home.

Names on a list then? Remember the factory is almost always closed in the leadup to EICMA, late Oct/Early Nov.

With comments like this, your really endearing yourself to the whole forum.. It's no wonder why your in need to read The following book :-

How To Win Friends And Influence People By
Dale Carnegie

So run along little boy you may just learn something, but then again maybe not.!.

Been twice at that time of the year - brilliant to catch up with old friends, stay overnight in town & have dinner out too (and the mandatory snowball fights too)

Slob, hows about a UKMOC trip towards the end of Jan, could even book a coach to collect from airport if enough people go? (D.UK / factory will help in organising if asked).

This was how we've done it before - is to post up date, take deposit off people, tell them which flight is 'the' one to nook on line - and we've all met at the airport
Someone posted hotel details & then about 50/60% booked on line to stay there.
Another organised the meal & took names & booked half a restaurant out.

All good fun
CK

ps: to the children squabbling in this thread - why dont you just keep things to yourselves or take it off line? Sniping is rare on here - you all are behaving like kids & trying to have the last word!

I spend more than that on a handbag, so no, it's neither here nor there for me. (Let that be a warning to anyone who's thinking of getting into handbags at dawn situation with me, I've got plenty of them and know how to use them.)

You'd be surprised what travel insurance covers. I have had my flight, visa and hotel cancellation charge refunded by the insurance, as a particular soprano had to pull out a few days before my trip to the Met Opera.

Where do I sign up for this clique, btw, or am I already in it? I've never before belonged to a clique so I'm quite tickled to pink to think I might have a chance now.
