Just insured my 600 with CIA for Â£110 fully comp with one years no claim and Â£250 excess...thought that was very good.

Pricey!

Just done the S4 (2002) for Â£420 fully comp, 2 years no claims with 2 riders (one with licence less than 2 years - me) with wicked quotes. Mind you, they didn't want to insure me at first, but because we've been with them a year with no claims, they said OK.

I've just had a quote from Ducati Insurance for my 600 Dark, Y 2001, just passed my test on Wednesday, kept in garage, fully comp = Â£575.00 - is this good or should I ring round a few more?

I think that sounds pretty cheap to me. I was quoted more than that just for tpft when I passed my test, and I live in a very low risk postcode (and I'm over 30 as well).

was the bike about 1200? in that case paying nearly 600 for tpft seems a bit much, Id go for tp only and spend some money on good security, remember to lock it to something like a ground anchor in the garage.

they cost a lot more than that to fix if you have even the slightest bang. better the devil you know.

depends, my excess is 200 I think tank reapirs have come in at 150 so horses etc, having said that Ill probably wobble the fuka of the back of the trailer totalling it.....fingers and wood.

It might cost more than that to fix it but if it does they'll write it off anyway and only give you the current book price so you would loose out..go tpand get good ground and chain lock.
