M750 reassembly order, help please.

I bought my M750 in pieces, totally stripped. I've sorted the components out, cosmetically refurbished the engine, powder coated the frame, swinging arm, footrest hangers etc. Now I need to start re assembly. How should I start, frame over engine then s/arm? do the inlet manifolds have to be off or on to clear the frame? Basically could someone give me a rough order of assembly please.

Hi Larsen,

I live just down the road from you in Garndolbenmaen, I've had my 1994 Monster in pieces and am in fact just about to do it all over again this winter. If you like we could meet up to have a chat about your project. Bitza

I had engine+swing arm on a rear stand and a piece of 'foam'. Then frame+fork on and you're one wheel away from rolling chassis.
Manifolds and throttle bodies on. Mine is a S2R800, so you should check if the frame cross members are different.

Agreed.

Get the engine right, then fit the swingarm and back wheel to it, drop the frame into place, get the fuel supply [Carbs/throttle bodies etc.] mounted, then fit the air box and main loom.
Then work outwards, finishing with the mudguards and lights.
Simples!
