The original MHR had had the colours split horizontally so I don't think it matters
Martin should sell the R1 and get on of these to go with the monster - It's a DIY modified Sport Classic

Well I really see no point in spending a small fortune on making a bike shed some kilo's and being lighter, if the rider doesn't think about doing the same thing aswell .!.
