its alot lighter than the S4, handles easier as you dont have to heave it out of corners, it does fly round corners and it gives alot of confidence on the angle. its alot of fun, but hasnt got the grunt, but weighing alot less and only 13hp down i think.
It will be more interesting when its run in, and the new exhaust is fitted, as the demo i took out had me grinning

Yes, the R1 is still in the garage

i am very tempted! Not sure how it works though

Really like the colour scheme. I'm toying with the idea of a newer scheme on the S2R at some point and this one is high on the list

enjoy mate

So now you understand the virtues of a lightweight motorcycle.

No point having a lightweight bike if you're not a lightweight yourself, that's why I don't bother!

I love that bike you put up GT.

A lightweight motorcycle will handle more responsively regardless of the riders weight, uksurfers post is testement to that.

I realise how it works Stu, it's just the effect is not quite the same when you are over 100kgs! Loosing weight from the wheels and unsprung weight have the best effect then.

Ready for the first service

Just managed to do about 150 miles today so have gone over my 625 miles, so i will be booking in for my 'first' service shortly.

Fitted a tail tidy from Evotech, and have an exhaust system waiting to be fitted from SC-Racing which is a 2-1

After i had clocked my miles, i opened up to another 1000 rpm which makes it a bit more fun, really enjoying the ride of the bike, just find the rear shock a little bit hard still, so might need a slight tweak.

I am so glad now that i have moved to a new style - Enjoying it
