It shouldn't need a full paint job though, should it ?
The logo is only under the lacquer, I presume. I would've thought that it could be removed, maybe tidied up with a single colour coat and then re-lacquered. Not that I'm a paint expert myself though, but the above sounds logical to me and perhaps wouldn't cost too much. And the painter will probably still have some paint left with any luck. Seems a shame to spoil the ship ........... |

I can't help but notice you have no side panels fitted, if thats intentional then please excuse me. Shameless plug but I have some nice carbon ones for sale cheap that would look ace against all that shiny black n gold paint.

Hiya mate, which side panels? I have striped all the plastics off except the cowl and mudguards which will be back on soon.

Ah yeah! Hmm I'll have a think but I wanted to keep any of the stuff off the sides to show off the wonderful frame as much as possible you see.
In other news I bought a Koso dl-03sr speedo. It lasted all of a day and is now in the bin. Wired up the fuel guage and it fried the whole thing. 120 quid down the pan. Utterly gutted. |

I've used the vapor dash in the past on a DT supermoto and that worked great for ages

I'll look into the vapor dash though in the event that the Koso doesn't get replaced. That said, I've still got a functioning stock one for now so I can still ride. |

If you are looking for a new dash, then I still have this for sale.

Sorry it's been a while chaps. Had a busy couple of months. The bike is now done!! Got the Koso replaced which was nice, forks had to get rebuilt though as they were pissing oil after the maiden 300 mile test ride (I needed to wear the tyres in and got carried away).
Anyway, here are some more photos with everything on the bike. Demon head which I thought looked rather fitting on the cam belt covers) As she stands now. Obligatory before and after shot. Thanks again everyone for your encouragement and help along the way. Kev |
