Monster 1100 fork springs
I'm overhauling the suspension on my 2010 M1100 but I'm having problems sourcing springs for the forks. They're 43mm Showas and nobody seems to list a replacement spring to suit. Does anybody know where I can get a pair of 8.5 or 9 N/mm springs to suit these forks?

I'm sure if you contacted either Richard at Maxton or Chris at K-Tech, they would be able to accommodate you.
Alternatively, if you want something off-the-shelf, Matris do fork spring kits https://www.matrisdampers.com/en/pro...kit-it-en/fks/ and their FD124KS fits the Showas in your 1100. Bike Torque Racing stock them https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Matris-KS...4/193353250519 |

Thanks. Have been in contact with K-Tech who say they do not do springs for mine, I'll try Maxton and have a look at the matrix kit

I found the guys at Hyperpro very helpful when I called them a couple of years ago.
Like you I couldn't find a specific set of springs for my bike, M900 with adjustable Marzocchis, but they looked it up for me and gave me a part number to order from whoever I wanted to. Nasher.

The Maxton springs I have can't just be dropped in but Maxton made a suitable spacer to enable them to be used, so alternatives are out there, they just might not be "plug-and-play". |

As long as the springs fit over the Damper rod a different length is really easy to compensate for.
The spacer tube can be cut down if the springs are longer, or a longer tube made up if they are shorter. The world is your Mothers uncle - or something like that.
