Loss of power and ECU lamp lit

Hi
I had a loss of power and ECU lamp lit this morning whilst riding along the A12. I have a 2017 M1200 and yesterday, said lamp illuminated and I stopped the bike. Restarted it and it cleared.
Today however, the lamp lit and I lost 90% power and a loss of revs too.
I managed to get the bike off the road and stopped and restarted it. Said lamp extinguished but the loss of power was still apparent.
After I reached my destination, the bike was idle for 1/2 hour and when rode home, was perfect without a hitch.
Has anybody else had this before and what was the outcome please?
A first guess I have is a possible sticky exhaust valve but it’s only a guess so far
Thanks very much
Steve

Why guess? Just plug it into the Ducati diagnostic software and find out what the error codes are?

Yup, if you have some sort of generic error warning, get to a dealer and let them plug it into their diagnostics.

It’s going in Saturday and we’ll see what’s what from there.
Cheers
