Nick's is an S2R with single sided swinging arm,
Your extenders are for the earlier hoop suspension.

Here is the response I got, they seem quite helpful

They are a pretty straightforward kit to fit although we would recommend leaving it to a suspension specialist if you don't have any previous experience with forks.

One of the things to look at with your forks is to check under the fork lowers (caliper brackets) and see if there's a bolt that runs up the middle of the lower on both sides - this holds the cartridges in place. If there's a bolt on both sides, it means that you don't need to remove the stanchions from the lowers which is then a fair easier job.

I'm pretty sure that the stanchions don't need to be split on your forks but as we see so many different forks, it's tricky to remember the anatomy of specific ones!

Straight fit, just gut the old internals, clean and re-oil and your good to go. I'll probably pull the stanchions out as I don't suppose they've been touched since the factory and replace all the wearable parts.

Well I have a bottle Ohlins shock oil, just waiting for the Andreani units to fetch up now.
Then all I have to do is to find the time to do the strip and fit, so probably after Christmas by the time I have new seals and oddities like thin spanners.
Update to follow on sitting.
Road testing and tuning may have to wait a bit for the weather to perk up a bit
