Refitting clutch plates on S4.

Hi people.

I was hoping to get my S4 MOT'd but after being laid up for a bit I found it had a fuel leak, (replaced a poo Jubilee clip,) and the clutch was stuck.

I dismantled it and separated the plates, but as I wasn't paying proper attention I realised I'm not sure of the correct refitting.
The plates are in order, but I'm unsure how they are aligned inside, and how tight the springs need to be?

Any help with nice pics would be appreciated. :-)

Cheers, Tony.

I thought loads of people would have jumped in here.
I presume it’s a dry clutch?
Something like this ( just realised its a barnett brand kit),
http://teamghettoracing.com/mechanic...ti-dry-clutch/

I’m sure my springs were just 6nm.

Thanks Damien666 and Luddite.
Yes it's a dry clutch.
I had a little wander around the internet and found a
few saying the aligning seems not critical.
6nm on the spring bolts is much less than
I thought.
I'll have a go nailing it back together later and
report back.
Successfully I hope.

only just nipped up, the aluminium posts they screw into will break off really easily if you pull hard on a lever, There's a dot on the pressure plate that should align with the slotted post.

Some s4 clutches have a dish plate put it in the middle of the pack D facing out if it has one . clean the plates with solvent and dry them out ,, if the bike has not been used make sure the slave is bled too ,, and yes do not over tighten the spring bolts just snug is fine ..

Thanks for the advice and pointers, much appreciated.
Nailed back together now, ridden to MOT and back
with no problems. (Passed no advisories.)
Defo need new plates as current ones very worn.

Apologies for glacial thanks.
