I can't remember the detail but I read the police turned up at a track day recently and checked the bikes, so maybe there is hope.

Interestingly, a couple of dodgy ebay ads surfaced yesterday regarding a Cagiva Elefant 900, with the Ducati motor of course. These are sought-after bikes, even though the later Gran Canyon is nicer. Anyway, the ads were to the format of the bogus Ducati ones I mentioned, one listed as UK and the other in Germany, but both from the same seller and both of the exact same bike as per the solitary photo! The UK one now has one bid at £1150, which is low for the model, but the German ad currently stands at £65,500!!
Someone's 'aving a larf... Buyer beware! Nick |
