821/1200 mirror retrofit

Question to 821/1200 owners is there some kind of spacer with the bolt used to mount the mirror?

I'm trying to fit them to my S2R, I thought I had all the parts but when the bolt is fully screwed in there is a huge gap so the mirror just flaps around.

I have 696/1100 brake and clutch mounts. The mirror bolt, which appears to be used from 696 onwards to the current bikes and also the little spring washer. Is there something I'm missing?

Ignore the post. Seems I was sent the wrong length bolt
