Monster MK-1 suspension upgrade
Hey there!
Her is a story: few months ago I decided to upgrade my rear suspensions' shock absorber from standard S2R1000 (only rebound adjustment to compression and rebound adjustment) . Unfortunately I made a mistake and bought SACHS shock absorber from Monster S4. I rebuilt and upgraded it completely: 1.the seal head is upgraded from steal to aluminium (7075); 2.the main seal and dust scrapper is upgraded to more universal size (it means You can find it in any hydraulic shop); 3."piggy bag" reservuar is upgraded from steal to aluminium (7075) and anodised; 4.Fresh oil inside, orings and proper gas pressure. So the thing is I can't use this on my bike because I have mono swing arm and it makes contact with the "piggy bag". All upgrades are developed by #shokstherepy can find them on Instagram! 150 punds+ shipping https://ibb.co/Pt2fsnR https://ibb.co/CQHq0d2 https://ibb.co/WGsT4w0 https://ibb.co/WVZXrTL Last edited by schneider; 11-07-2020 at 07:05 PM.. |

It will fit for all MK-1 monsters with "double " rear swing arm. For example 600, 620, 1000, s4, i think m900 to. Originally it came from s4 model, with standart 70kg/cm spring.

...apart from the bogus 'Ohlins' sticker
will only fit most ie type monsters and s4 with 'tie-rod' linkage, nothing with 'hoop' suspension linkage (different fitting) or s*r (unless you modify rear sub-frame for clearance)! Last edited by slob; 11-07-2020 at 11:38 PM.. |

...no no no , Ohlins sticker are oem (made by Ohlins)
By the way, i saw a lot of "old days" Ohlins dampers, and i can tell Sachs/ZF engineering definitely not vorse then dampers from Sweden....and by the way,You can always remove it, its up to You... |
