You can normally find a list of what gets done in the back of the service manual can't you ?
Metropolis are atrocious but the bike will still be within warranty I'm guessing and it's reassuring to have it done by a mail dealership at that point. After that, get well away from them and never return for servicing. They charge £90 an hour for labour, Rosso Corse are about £72, inclusive of VAT.

Pro Twins (who are a Ducati main dealer) charge £66 per hour for labour (including VAT).
As far as I am aware there is no necessity to have services that are during the warranty period done by a main dealer. As long as whoever does the service can show that they have done the correct work and used the correct parts. It would only ever come into play if you made a warranty claim on something that was directly related to something that was covered by the service. That is unlikely as those are bits that are checked and/or adjusted and/or replaced. |
