I'm back!

If I have ever really been away at all?! Anyway, picked this up today

I was always biding my time to get back into monster ownership and hope I have now picked a winner.

It's a 2009 1100 (non S)
But, it has a pretty extensive list of upgrades and extras
Ohlins forks
Ohlins shock
Marchesini forged wheels (1098 or Hypermotard I think, not sure)
Termis with ECU
ASV levers
Some form of performance seat but I can't figure out which yet
Renthal fatboy bars which are apparently a little higher than standard

Also included, but not fitted to the bike, was an SC project single high level system, like this, which i really like and am considering fitting. I'm not sure how it would look with the higher bars I have on though as it really suits that cafe racer style clip on look

A set of Giles rearsets. brand new, look great, but I will lose pillion pegs so maybe not an option for me.

I have to say, after an intiital test I'm very happy. The only complaint so far is a buzziness through the pegs I have never noticed on my other Ducatis over the years so I may need to change the pegs after all.

more photos tp follow if I ever get out on it and when I start messing, so probably in a week or so

Sure. I love the look but it runs so nice at the moment I'm tempted to keep the termis on.

IMO, the second picture with the SC system looks a lot better than the first picture with the Termis (I don't think it is because I have the SC can on my Evo !! )

I fancy the SC and clip ons. My stock pegs were ok. Check the rubber bushes first. Can you not get pillion brackets for Gilles. I have them for Rizoma. One bolt goes through rear engine mount which is drilled and tapped and the other is on the back of rearset
