Hi level termis price?

Looking to sell my hi level Termi exhaust from my S4R to purchase a short termi on eBay that’s priced at £500. Did a search for my exhaust but couldn’t find any for sale so just wondering how much they usually go for?

Just did a quick search on there and the little stubby type that goes on the cat are about £500 brand new, the pair of cans that go on the cat are about £800 brand new and a full system is probably £1500 or more depending on the type.

I don't know where the seller has come up with £2500 new, that might be for a full system which that is not, it's just the standard exhaust with the cat and stubby can fitted. Do you really need another standard exhaust with cat?

Yea, but you can buy a brand new one for just over £500 so a s/hand one should be around £250 not £500 unless you'd prefer a s/hand one for nearly same price as a new one?

How does it fit on? I thought I needed the udder bit?

I don't think you need that bit as it should fit over the 2 outlets of your udder. The carbon sleeve covers that bit over afaik, but I'm sure someone who has one could confirm that.

Worth £500? I don't think so personally. You'd be better off getting a full up and under system then at least you will get some improvement in power and torque. All that stiubby will do is make your bike bloody loud!

If you have a decat pipe then you would need to put the cat back on with the standard headers.

The shortie pipe needs the testastretta udder to fit or the desmoquattro udder will require the pipes to be enlarged to enable it to fit, if i remember correctly, I did look into this system for my s4r about 12 years ago.

But why would you put back an udder: they are as ugly as an ugly thing that's been well beaten with the ugly stick!

Personally I wouldn';t bother unless you really prefer the look over what you have now. I think the one can each side (up and under) looks much better and will give better performance than putting an ugly udder cat back on. The improvement you could make to your current setup is maybe see if you can get some of the big bore spaghetti headers like those on the full system that may work with your current link pipes and cans and remapped. That would be £500 better spent imho.

That would be my inclination too, especially if you upped the tube diameter a little to 45mm. I’d be having a word with Mark Lumb at MADASL: I really like the pipes they’ve done for Yorkie and some others on here.
