Freebie battery.

I've just taken this battery off my SS as the bike will be in long term storage and the battery will not survive, besides I am a terrible snob and will only have Motobatt on my bikes.
So this battery is up for grabs if anyone has a need for one.
You can read what it is on the photo and it's on a freshen up charge as I found it at just under 12Volts after sitting for nearly 12 months since I bought the SS. It was new about that time apparently, and the condition seems to bear that out.
It's never been anywhere near freezing in that time as I heat my workshop.

It's sitting in the rubber battery tray liner from my Monster to prove that it will fit a Monster, but I'm keeping the liner.

Please come and pick it up If you would like it. I'm about ten miles West of Norwich.
Sorry I cannot (and will not) post this, as it is a wet acid type.

Also please do not post... Aw I just bought a new battery!

It's holding a nice 12.5 volts after it's little trickle charge.
Did I mention this is free?
Please someone, come and take it away and make use of it as it will only get weighed in when it's knackered. (Or probably before that.)

There might be cake when you come round...

Looks like the same battery as in one of my other bikes..... I'll take it Gary.

Grumpy didn't take the battery in the end, he had a jammy deal on the bike he was going to put it on..

The battery is still up for grabs, if anyone will please take it.
Still holding a good charge, must be of some use to someone?

That’s a real bargain for someone:

I’d say yes please if not for the 400 mile round trip to collect it from you!

Blimey I had no idea of the price new!

Mate, I'll be in Kent on Tuesday, near Dartford. No idea when I'll be heading home. Might be Tuesday evening, or some time Wednesday.
Maybe we could meet at some point? If that's any good to you?

The battery has done a World tour of the Southern Counties and the North Norfolk coast and still I have it!

Still free and up for grabs.
