696 engine with earlier monster electronics.

Hi. I am building a bike around a 696 monster engine. It looks like I cannot operate the bike without a set of 696 clocks due to the way the immobiliser is in the clocks.

Can I run with earlier (620 or 695) electronics as I can immo off and run with a set of Koso's or nice race clocks similar rather than needing to spend silly money on 696 specific clocks, locks and ecu.
