Great to see everyone today. Welcome to Dave, a new face on the forum, look forward to meeting you again.
I hope everybody had a safe ride home.
The next meet date will be posted in a couple of weeks.

Splendid to see everyone again.. What a nice venue.

I was a bit late due to having to fiddle with a loose lucar on the front coil.. Probably got a thin or broken wire in there somewhere. I can't imagine it will be too hard to fix.

The nice lady on the museum till gave Dacs and I a healthy discount on our admission and minded our helmets too.. What a nice venue.

We met Jeff after the museum tour, I stayed to chat and found some interesting planes.

Setting off late and noticing it being harder work into the freshening headwind, I was quite disappointed by the sharp temperature drop as the Sun got lower.. and then the speedo packed up about 30 miles from home, but she stayed on two cylinders this time... Hope it's just a snapped speedo cable.

Not a bad shakedown run after the short Winter overhaul. Just over 200 miles.

Good luck with future meets Grumps and IMOC... What a good venue..

Did you have your leather jacket on ? (Gunga Din)
...for our younger members, that's a Byrds reference.

Sorry I missed you all.
I did get there but set off late because it was a cold morning, then got snarled up in a diversion on the A6 and got a bit lost on the final stretch after Bedford.
Gazza and Dacs were still there but the rest of you had already left by the time I arrived.
Just as well I didn't put my name on the list .. it was always touch and go.
Nice run down though .. I must've seen half a dozen Red Kites on the way .. great to see these graceful birds getting strongly re-established now.

Yes nice place & great to see everyone .The ride there & back was great & i didn't seem to be bothered by the gusty wind on the way home (was it the breakfast ?) 170 miles in all & getting about 50mpg even at enthusiastic speeds. so i'll turn up again for a meet during the year.. but will the discount still apply . Yes even saw a pair of Kites (forked tails) .

Think the biker discount is March only. Thanks to Grumpy for arranging the weather, it was good to blow away the cobwebs - the Monster probably felt the same. Great day out, cheers.

Sorry to have missed you Jeff. Would have liked a catch up.
I live 20 mins up the road, the area has loads of buzzards and kites, love it!
