May meets in Norfolk
Some interesting and unusual stuff coming up.
Happisburgh Lighthouse tour. This is on Saturday 11th May (Close to our second Sunday meeting time) It is a Norton Owners Club event that we are invited to. There will be a (sedate) run starting from the campsite adjacent to Whitwell Station, nr Reepham. Setting off at 10am sharp, heading for Happisburgh. The lighthouse tour starts at 11am and is a fiver. There are 112 steps to the top. Lunch at the Kingfisher Café, Walcott afterwards and a run back to Whitwell. I will be riding tail end Charlie on the run, which you can join if you wish, or meet us at the Lighthouse at 11am. Obviously there is the option to do as much or little of the day as you wish, but hopefully you will be able to catch the lighthouse tour. Sat 18th May "Muddle and get nowhere" Guided motorcycle tour of Norfolk M&GN railway stations. Looks like a very ambitious tour...Nice if the weather is good.. I might give it a look. https://www.facebook.com/events/1828133723959455/ Sun 19th May. Skeyton Goat. The Skeyton Goat Classic show. Lots of interesting stuff but not so good since they implemented a 1985 cut off date for exhibitors , effectively excluding us from the display! https://www.skeytongoatinn.co.uk/up-...ts-and-offers/ Don't forget the East Kirkby Italian Day on June 15th

The lighthouse is out for me as I'm at Centre Parks....
Also the railway run, it's the same day as I'm displaying my monster on a stand in the MCN Festival of Motorcycling. The Classic show on the sunday looks interesting, will try to make it.

Weather is still a bit meh for the lighthouse run, but I did feel the Sun on my back at the Kingfisher Café after the tour.
Three Commandos and an Atlas attended along with mine and DaveR's Monsters. At least the mediocre weather is keeping most of the grockles away. A nice curved cupboard for the light bulbs. Orfordness has one of these too. And one from my 2015 archives.
