VAG OBD Cable and Fiat 3 Pin Adapter

Can anyone recommend the cables to use with JPDiag? I know there are loads everywhere but I'm hoping someone knows of some tried and tested ones! All the old links are dead

I got some off Amazon, I might have to get some more as I can't find them!

Replacing crock clips

It’s important you don’t get +12 volt polarity the wrong way round. To make relatively fool proof assuming you have a battery tender cable and it’s the correct way round I replaced mine with the mating connector for my optimate charge leads. Makes connecting/ disconnecting easy. Purchased the connector from the now defunct Maplin. Reversing the polarity burns out an internal ground which you can reinstall albeit externally with a wire.

Yeah I think there is a test you run first or something

That sounds like a great idea!

You just have to check the polarity on the 2 croc clips to make sure the red one is positive. I think there were some where the red and black covers were fitted to the wrong clips, the wrong way around.
