Carbon number plate holder
Hi Folks, I am assisting Barbara with clearing out some items from Geoff's parts bin, first up is a Genuine Ducati carbon number plate holder. I have googled the part number, which is no longer available, it appears to be from an S4. This is not in mint condition but "fair used" in my opinion. open to fair offers if anyone fancies it.

I would have jumped at this, largely because I've been after a bit of "Geoff" on my bike for ... well you know how long.
But sadly on closer inspection, the one on my bike has a three bolt fixing while that one is only two. The third fixing hole is recessed, like the other two, so its not just a matter of drilling a third hole. I'm not sure which models have the two bolt fixing but if it helps, my bike is a yr2000, post facelift model with curvy teatray. I'm guessing this might fit the original style monsters with the square teatray, but its only a guess. |

It looks quite like these, but with only two bolts.
https://www.forza-moto.com/en/p/725+...r-plate-holder Has it been cut?

...well done Mark, thats the exact item...and yes it must have been cut, dont know if Geoff had a project in mind or acquired it like that.......part number matches the one on the rear so only two mounting holes available to use !

He bought a carbon plate holder from me just a few weeks before he passed and he had intended on modifying it for his Streetfighter. This isn't the one I don't think but it is very similar.
