Black clutch slave cylinder, stock ratio

Hi guys,

Anyone knows of nice, black clutch slave cylinder with stock ratio?

I do not find stock lever operation hard
My slave has failed so want a black one and can't find a black with stock ratio.

I wonder how long it is going to still be okay to refer to master and slave, even in mechanical terms? It crops up in woodwork too.

It makes you realise how naturally we use terminology from darker days without even thinking of it. and how our language is saturated with such.
It's very ironic that when slavery was abolished in the UK, the biggest slave owners were compensated for their "loss" by the government and ploughed their gains into the industrial revolution taking the language and values with them.

I'm not sure what alternative names there are?

Interesting how language is moulded as time passes.. Spot the two agricultural references in this very post.

Well, to get you started, how about -
Pumper and pumped
Send and Receive
Little and Large (although probably not, on second thoughts)
While you're at it, it might be worth thinking about how we replace male and female when it comes to hose fittings, can't see that being allowed for much longer.

in computing... ‘server/client’, although ‘master/slave’ still exists in some applictions,
i read about one coding language that changed ‘leader/follower’ recently,
i’d have thought ‘live/dev(elopment)’ or ‘primary/secondary’ would make more sense.

Joking aside, Oberon and the like make them in many colours and even if you don't need the reduced effort, I can't see it being a problem.
