Well there was I on my lonesome feeling unloved and there you are

It's next Sunday Colin, I have taken an early look at the forecast and although it's showing sunny periods, zero degrees rising to six.....I kid you not! I am guessing mr grittier will be busy, watch this space mate but if I were a betting man.....four wheels looks likely.

Anyway there is lots to discuss so try to make it if you can , updates during the week.

Good weather forecast..shock!

.....unbelievable....met office WF is giving only 5% chance of rain tomorrow and a yellow circular symbol !

Hmmm, chance of two wheels I think, so monthly meet at the lockgate, stuff to talk about for sure, I have also updated the first page of this thread by adding the 6th annual LlanBikeFest, 1st and 2nd August so put those dates in your diary.

Hope to see you all tomorrow

I'll be there tomorrow, looks like the car we've got up to 50 knot winds until around 11:00

It's dry !!!!!!!

Morning all.....what a fantastic day, 4degrees air temperature, roads drying rapidly( not surprised with last nights wind), no gritters on the Wirral near me, let's hope Cheshire didn't grit either!

In case you haven't guessed it's the bike for me

Looking forward to a cold but dry ride, see you all soon.

March Monthly meet

Wow, what a difference a month make ! Great turnout today ,big thanks to all those who turned out, the weather played a major part in dictating transport....here goes you are expecting this....so for the record, and first time ever, Pete was NOT on his bike....the naughty step was not big enough today.

Colin and I were the ones brave enough to be on two wheels, some salt residue on the Cheshire roads sadly, quite gusty on the way back but I have a grin like a cheshire cat

Great to see Paul and Steve R, thanks for coming guys.Paul is already booked for the weekender, bit of persuading required for Steve I think ! Also great to see stevedesmo , hope the trip onwards to J&S was beneficial mate. Colin hopefully got some recommends for powder coaters.....black wheels mate.

As mentioned a reccy ride next weekend, saturday or sunday, whichever proves to be the best weather day. Aim to meet 10:15 ish.

Photo of all you happy smiling faces below, until next time...

It will be us looking at the weather in the East next weekend, to see how many wheels to take out!.. Looking as if it will get a little milder but a lottery with the showers.

Glad you had a good ride and a nice turnout. It never occurs to me to take pics at our meetings... I can see Pete, even though he is trying hard to hide..

Corona Virus & monthly meets

OK Folks, as this thing takes a grip and the Country grinds to a halt we need to be realistic about what we can and cannot do.At the lockgate Laura has decided she is running a take away service only, to be fair I think its a matter of time before she has to close the doors.

The monthly meets therefore are cancelled until further notice, even if we were able too, and had the desire, gathering in groups with other groups in cafe's is not a good move at the moment.

Stay safe and well and I am sure it wont be too long before we can meet up again.

We will have to reconsider once we get to know what number is classed as a 'gathering'
