Monster 696 whistle like sound
Hi guys, i knwow that this topic was discussed many times on this forum but im not sure that the situation applyed for me. Please take a look at this video and hear the whistle noise on deceleration. This noise is not present on cold engine, only after the engine is hot. Is this sound a normal sound? Thanks in advance

Hi Alex
it doesn't sound normal to me, when was you motor last serviced? I'd want to check 1) the condition of the timing belts 2) the belt tension is correct 3) the tensioner bearings are all ok |

Hi slob, engine was serviced 250 km ago, new OEM belts and new belt tensioners. The tension was set at 110Hz. Some mechanics recommended me after they saw the video to set the tension at 100Hz, because when the engine gets hot, the belts make this noise. Saturday I will reset the tension and get back with updates.
