1100 Evo Forks - default comp setting

Does anyone know the number of clicks out for the default setting? The manual says the forks are are non adjustable (freudian slip perhaps) but I'd like to start from the default before trying to get the custom settings right for me (I appreciate this probably won't make a ha'porth of difference but I've got to try)

You can download the owners manual from Ducati.com
from the 'burger menu' at top left, choose 'service and maintenance' > 'owners manuals'
select Monster, model and year and hit the 'download' button, you want pages 73/74

STANDARD factory setting is as follows:
Compression: 1 and a half turn from Max (fully closed);
Rebound: 1 turn from Max (fully closed).
Spring preload: 7 turns more from Min. (fully not preloaded).
Every full turn corresponds to 1 mm of spring preload (total
15 mm).

Rebound is on top in the centre of the preload adjuster nuts, Compression is at the bottom by the brake calipers.

Another factory setting you might want to check is the fork height itself:

And check left and right are even too - mine were visibly different from new.

Torque settings are 24Nm for the top yoke and 22Nm for the lower tightened in the order 1-2-1. (Use moly grease on the threads and under the heads.)

By the way, if you're thinking of servicing the forks yourself, I've got a PDF copy of the Marzocchi service guide. If you want a copy, PM me your email address and I'll send it as an attachment.

Ta for the info. I bought a manual for a fiver on ebay before I bought the bike. I knew you could download parts lists from ebay but didn't know about the manuals.
