Mr Clumsy

Sheared the gear lever linkage at the left hand rose joint. Having trouble finding replace ment. Any ideas. 800 s2r but I susspect earlier models might fit?

You're lucky living in Southampton as that makes you only 15 minutes or do from Moto Rapido. Make sure you mention to Craig or Luke when you order that you're a UKMOC member and you'll get a 10% discount.

By the way, when removing and replacing the rose joints, don't forget one will be a left-handed thread, (often identified by punch marks or lines on the nut).

I did wonder if this was the reason. I think the left handed end is marked with a groove around the end of the rod and the nut is probably marked in some way too.
