Last Call for the Weekender

Double edged Title to this post folks, so firstly a gentle reminder that the rooms go back on general release at the Hotel on May 12th ,so 10 days and counting if you want to join in for one ,two or all three days. You can of course call the hotel after the 12th May but you wont get the negotiated rates .

Secondly after much discussion amongst the Committee members , this will be the last Club weekender . It seems the time is right at 30 years Anniversary to draw a line under the format and move on .

Its been a pleasure to be involved over the last few occassions but all good things come to an end, I am sure something interesting will be formulated over a drink or two in June .

Stay safe and hope to see you in June,

Yes, I think it will catch on because it's important to pack light on overnight bike trips.

Finally managed to book and put my deposit down. I don't think they have them trained to answer phones at that place!

Hope you lot had a great time, you certainly had the weather for it.

Interesting, and I have to say surprising, last paragraph there from you Moco1961?
It would be easy to jump to conclusions that something has 'occurred' during the discussions about how to take the club forward, but I'm sure it will all come out in the wash at some point.
