I have to agree with the other comments, that is one very nice looking motorcycle and one that looks as if it will be a very much a 'real world' bike too.
I really like the seat unit shape too- what have you done for a tail/brake light? It is one area on many production bikes that can be improved in my opinion but one that has got it right is Yamaha's beautiful (but flawed in places) XSR900 Abarth.

EFP30 foam has piqued my interest, as I am now at the foam lump stage of a GRP seat base that I have recently made. I googled it and cannot get an idea of "squidginess"!
How does it compare to that pork cheese looking foam made of multi-coloured bits? I am assuming that it's okay for an upright sort of riding position such that you have? Really keen to try the sandable shaping aspect, as I could use this foam to form the rear upholstered hump, rather than shaped "Cellotex" with GRP overlay. Do you use ordinary contact glue on this? ..and is it ok to cut with a bandsaw?

How about mean and moody metallic black? You could put a red or orange metal flake in the black maybe, so you see it when it catches the light.
...and Gold clutch plate and yellow spring just for Gazza?

It’s the red for me but only if it matches the shock spring/clutch plate as well as you photoshop does. I like Darren’s suggestion too, something that only shows colour in bright sunlight usually looks really classy.

here is the first coat of lacquer… For 40 years I used my trusty Binks Bullows 230 but it was starting to give problems… I tried several guns off Ebay, but despite the Binks problems always went back to it… then a few years ago I bought a cheap (£20) gun off amazon… it had great reviews, and sure enough its brilliant! this is the gloss straight from the gun!

I did prefer the orange over the red. A non-standard bike deserves a non-standard colour. Too many red Ducati anyway!

I think you've made the right choice with the orange - that'll really pop and works well against the silver frame. Will you be adding any logos? If so, what font have you chosen? Classic sixties, seventies parallel lines or eighties Cagiva style?
There's a similar look on this custom mark 1 Multistrada, which seems to have the same tank as yours but I much prefer your frame/bodywork colour combo. https://www.bikeexif.com/ducati-multistrada-cafe-racer |

It looks like someone has had a lump of EFP30 foam in a CNC 3D router... Now there's a thought?

That's probably the best thing you can do with a Multi strada, and that's one of the nicest I've seen. Don't get me wrong they are good bikes, especially if you can get an S version. Just bloody butt ugly!
