This has to be a joke, two minutes ago I went on to “other” and it doesn’t include Ducati!!! So I can’t include one of their iconic as you say bikes. Somethings up?

Sorry, I may not have been clear:
Not 'Other manufacturer', in the 'Ducati' section, there's an 'Other' for bikes not listed, where you can enter any details you like, 851/888, and all the single cafe-racer/scrambler models aren't listed either.

Tried to register on to the Ducati website but was advised that the email address has already been used so asked for a password reset and it appears that I may have Забули пароль?

Yep, Russian, I have no idea what's going on...

Edit, I've done it again and it was all in Italian but now it's back to Russian again despite changing the password, I think I may give up and accept that i will never get any freebies...

DOC affiliation

Thanks for the heads up Rob. I have checked and mine appears to all be in order.

Sorted Bob

If all the member info isn't complete, the system won't let me hit renew, so I emailed everyone listed as 'to be renewed'. Over the years the system has lost bits and bobs of peoples' info during migrations and upgrades, plus I email everyone annually and if I don't get a reply I don't renew.

I log in and have got my S2R and 748R listed.
Small issue is that I've been sent the email with "because you didn't respond to an annual renewal email or you failed to update your profile on MyDucati and you still own a Monster and wish to keep your DOC affiliation"

Not had an annual renewal email and my profile on MyDucati is up to date including club as UKMOC.
I just looked to check if that had changed and no, same as when I looked before, there's Robs details and at the very end I'm listed as active.

ok Nick, I’ll investigate.
I could see dozens of club/forum members who are not showing as active DOC members for whatever reason, the easiest way of checking no one gets dropped accidentally was to get the system to chuck out a mass email before the end of June.

Hi Rob, I got your email reminder, many thanks - I've now registered on my Ducati and it's ported across info they already had on me/one of my bikes, I've added my other older bike they didn't seem to have plus ensured nickname is set to yellowfever as it is on here.

Under DoC it lists UKMOC already, however the status shows as "to be renewed". Think from an exchange earlier on in this thread that you may be able to fix this to active? Shout if you need me to do anything else and many thanks again for sorting all this admin, hope it's proving less onerous with the new system...

Cheers

David

Perhaps I'm missing something but I couldn't load the registration document in myducati... but do you really have to do this ? I spent far too long trying and have no intention of trying again.which is a shame

Cheers
Nigel

Yes and No Nigel,

registering your 'Garage' entirely optional, although they ran a competition to win a Hypermotard last year where you got one lucky dip entry per bike owned.

you do need to check whether you're affiliated to a club in the 'Desmo Owners Club' section (1)
If you are, any clubs show at the bottom (2), if you aren't you can 'Join A DOC' (3)
