Ask Grumpy if he'd recommend him.

His workshop looks impressively untidy.

Judging from his location and the case-savers that he makes, would this be the guy who was a mate of the late Darren ?

I wouldn't mind hearing from him... He owes me a case saver... And I have been chasing him since end Feb. Hope he is well...

I'm in the same position, albeit only since the beginning of April. I did speak with him a couple of weeks ago, he mentioned two being made, one for a 750 and one for a 900, but said he had posted them both that week.

He did also mention he was having trouble accessing emails, though.

Ok.. So I have found out via PM's that there are at least 3 of us on the forum who have paid and are waiting for kit or who have had less than great products here in the past. If anyone does know "Mr BBB Fabrications" and has any leverage please let us know. Otherwise my recommendation is avoid like the plague.. I have raised a formal dispute through PayPal now.

Second time I have been taken for a ride by a joker picked up from a link on UKMOC.. First Jim of the "Fabled Cables" fame and now "Mr Fabrication"...I am not saying this is in any way UKMOC or any individual member fault... Just remember.. Buyer Beware folks. ..

Shame really as I've only ever had great deals with folk on here with some stuff being given to me foc.

Perhaps trading needs separate section to private sales.

I'm keen not to let this turn into a witch-hunt until we know some more. It looks like there are a couple of us in this position which is unfortunate, but I'd quite like to hear that he is well first before dragging his name through the muck.

That being said, it seems like this has been going on for a little while for SteveG. Steve @ BBB did tell me he was having internet problems when I did manage to speak with him a few weeks ago, but that doesn't excuse not answering phone/replying to texts.

Understand that Ross. However, I have given the guy more than enough time IMO since Feb. Hence going via PayPal. And that has not had any response from trader either. I obviously do hope the guy he is well and there is a legit reason. But.. Buyer Beware.

Other individual regular forum members have always been great.. Even bought my current Ducati off a UKMOC regular.
