Bite the bullet .......DON"T bother with just new rings you can get new pistons with rings for a similar if not cheaper than stock from someone like JE

and then get the barrels nicasil coated back to std spec, it will be like having a new bike, doing all the labour yourself the the job can be done for around £400/450

always a good shout and can be done for same price, but then you need to spend on jetting and dyno time so instantly you add at least another £250,

Ha, you actually read my mind with that. I did see the JE ones and was going to ask if they were decent kit or not as it seemed nuts that you could get forged pistons with rings for less than the cost of OE rings!!
