Great pic's Mike and well done to all for a solid turnout. Thanks for the guided ride out - much appreciated after 6 months of total biking inactivity.

So after 18 months, I'm nearly up to the 500 mile mark - only 100 more for 1st service. I might even consider taking it up to 3000 rev's (although I don't want to push it).

Great day and good to see everyone. Looking forward to next month

Hi al,

Never actually had a full breaky at the lockgate, the bacon and egg butty usually does the trick.

We need to get a ride out East so you can ride west and meet up with us...... Get the grey matter working mate and we will come up with something

This is equidistant from Park Gate, have been there many times and it's good. Prices are similar to Lock Gate. It's on the edge of the Trough of Bowland, lovely village and a bit different. http://www.waddingtonarms.co.uk/

Well Al, our luck is in mate, if you take a look at the start of this thread we do indeed have the Trough of Bowland as a ride out, Chris is organising that one, funnily enough we chatted about it yesterday and its going to be June, actual date to be confirmed so watch this space !

[QUOTE=ChrisC2925;553596]Hi Mossley I went to my first game at Old Trafford in 1964 and used to go to Maine Road to watch Manchester Boys. Only went to see the Bitters once, the aforementioned 1990 comeback.

Nice reworking of a classic, Mike.

Thinking of a stop at The Parkers Arms, although the Waddington is also good

I've always enjoyed football songs. Some are funny, some are poignant and some are purely beautiful. Today I heard a stunner I'd like to share, bear in mind these were the supporters of the bottom club in the Premier League. How magnamious was this?

"We won you the league, we won you the league, Oh Man City we won you the league"

Very selfless, having just beaten the 'biggest club in the world' Isn't football fantastic...

Congratulations to City on a well deserved Premiership title, albeit not in the expected record time.

Just another 15 league titles, 8 FA Cups, 18 Charity Shields, 3 European Cups, 1 UEFA Cup, 1 Super Cup, 1 Inter Continental Cup and 1 Club World Cup and then you might have something to compare.

Roll on next year.

Interesting how a song can work wonders.
