Design Corse

Hi Guys,
Have you heard this? I've used this company for a number of years and it's a great shame that they went to the wall last Friday. Shame they didn't tell me this last Wednesday when I posted a tail light back to them that was faulty!

"Announcement
Dear All;
We are very sorry to announce that Design Corse will cease trading as of 10/01/2020.
We are extremely grateful for your continuous support over the 10 years of Design Corse' journey of supplying premium aftermarket parts for your motorbike.
For any further questions; please contact the Insolvency Agency at the below details:
Anne Marie Harding
Begbies Traynor
Exchange House, 494 Midsummer
Boulevard., Milton Keynes, MK9 2EA.
T: 01908 489 409
We wish you the best of luck on the journey of customising your Italian Stallion.
The Design Corse Team"

BTW the insolvency company aren't much help if you are a customer. Their advice to me was to make a claim with PayPal or Credit Card Company. Not of much use if you paid by debit card! :-(

I heard very mixed revious about them. From I payed them and did not get my stuff, via I paid them and stuff took months to arrive to I paid them and got it few days later as agreed.

It was not leaning in any direction with those reviews so they never had overall good score.

Still sad.

As the item you bought was faulty, you may still be able get a refund from the debit card issuer under the 'Chargeback Scheme'. Check with the bank who issued the card and ask them to raise a claim.

Hope you get your money back.

Get yourself copies of the original invoice, your letter returning the item, the certificate of posting, (and print out confirmation of delivery from Royal Mail track and trace), plus the page from the Design Corse website announcing their closure and, finally, any correspondence you've had with the Insolvency Agency.

That should give you all you need for a successful claim.

Good luck!

A shame as I used them for quite a few years for MV parts and the odd Ducati item. I met Ali a few times and he was a real nice guy. I hope it all works out OK for him and his team

Hi Luddite,
Just to let you know, I took your advise about “Charge Back” and received a full refund from my bank about three weeks ago!

Many thanks

Colin
