Keep smiling then

Glad to see your wit is still in tact Rob judging by the injury list this was an "over the top" land on your back job?, it's times like this you realise the importance of the body armour.

Hope you get well soon mate, and your 'off' doesn't put you 'off.' Kit manufacturers claims are all very well, but guaranteed none of us want to put it to test. I'm with you on your comment, I never go anywhere without the Forcefield 4 on..

Just seen this, GWS Rob. It sounds like you had a lucky escape there. Keep smiling but not laughing!

Sorry to hear all this Slob- hopefully you'll get well and back on it soon.

I'm sure a bit of T-Cut will have the bike looking like new in no time

Hope you're up and about soon.
Life is about having a wide range of personal experiences but there are some that you'd really rather skip!!

Ouch! Get well soon, Rob.

I fractured my L1 and knee (among other things!) a few years back and had the body cast thing for a month. I was told I couldn't drive for three months but they didn't mention riding so I was back on a CG125 after six weeks carrying my crutches on my back in an old air rifle bag. With some physio and a bloody-minded attitude, you'll soon be back on two wheels (perhaps sooner than two legs!).

All the best.
