Reading dyno print-outs?
Hi all, OK does anyone out there have any experience with Dyno data, I was just wondering what kinds of information can be obtained (in addition to the basic & pretty meaningless max power/toque figures). Can you for instance deduce when fueling/valves/exhaust have become a limiting factor. More a matter of general curiosity at the moment, but might be useful sometime soon?! Bitza

Most Dyno's can read out an Air/Fuel ratio. This ratio is measured per cylinder. With this ratio a good mechanic can see if there is something wrong per cylinder or in general.

The most significant limiting factor on my 1100 Evo is the rider, by a long way.

The limiting factor on a DS motor at 100+BHP will be cooling.
