Another rebuild
Hello all
Thought I'd share a few photos of my 04 S4R after its recent rebuild. It got run over while in at my local dealer for a service. Decided on a new paint scheme, originally a red/grey/white wheels, then a red/red now white/red ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |

.....and the little tricolore touch on the seat cowl.
That exhaust is the absolute business too, oh yes indeedy. The open belts scare me, though.. just one little stone........ |

As I recall Dave Woods did a lot of the work.

Is the exhaust a special then, or what ?
Thats exactly what I had in mind for my M750...until someone made me an offer that I couldn't refuse on some hi-level termis. The hankering still remains, though. |

Indeed, the exhaust is titanium and it has a 220mm rear brake disc. Shaun? wanted a light bike.
I bought a swing arm off him which I later sold to Albie |

I have a couple more mods to sort and I will be calling it quits. The rear brake now has no power, smaller dia disk and tiny brembo race caliper was not a good combination. I have another caliper and looking for a floating disk to pair it with. I want to change the mount to be above the disk rather than under so will need to make a custom caliper bracket. The final job will be to make a bracket for the exhaust as Brad mounted the the exhaust onto the back of the "adjustable" rear set foot peg....... Makes it a little un-adjustable. Hopefully will get these sorted this winter. Shaun |
