I know the seat is a DP solo one. He says the original unused hump and fairing are with the bike. Don't know about the crash cage. Were they fitted with slipper clutches? Thats news to me.

That was easy... Pretty sure this is the one. Note the red reservoir muffs.

That's what I thought too.

Clarification

Hi, I've just got back from holiday and seen the thread so I thought I ought to clear up a few issues.

Firstly, Kato is correct, it isn't a Challenge seat. The Challenge bikes had a standard dual seat with the giant carbon hump. I had forgotten that mine had been changed by the first owner, albeit for a fantastic piece of kit.
The radiator protector frame is a genuine challenge item, however.

Kato's link is the original advert from Italia Moto. Mileage, just over 600, which is why the bike looks new, but of course all the recommissioning had not been done at that stage. I've owned the bike for three years and have done around 2000 miles since then. It still looks new.

Thanks to smiffyraf1 for getting it right!

The seat hump and front fairing look brand new and bear the same numbers as the series winning bike. I suspect that these were stickered up for display purposes after the series ended. They don't look like they have ever done any road, never mind race mileage. I will try to attach some pictures. if I fail, (as before) if anyone is interested I'll send them via email.

I am genuinely giving up biking which is why I'm selling and it has been a very hard decision to arrive at, although I have been known to relapse on occasions.

I hope this helps to clarify some of the uncertainty.

Thanks, Darren.
I made a mess of the ebay listing and set it to appear a week before I got back from holiday, rather than the day I got back, which hasn't helped! I've made a couple of amendments to the listing now.
It's had over 800 views and over 40 watchers, so I hope it goes to a good home.
It's a pretty unique bike.

I wish we’d found this bike when we were putting together the 20th anniversary display for the NEC... although we did manage to find a Foggy for the S4 slot.

I wish I'd known about it, it would have been a pleasure to have it on display.

Just as an aside, several people had asked me what number bike it was (of the 30 that were race prepared) and I didn't have a clue. That is, until I looked closely at the documentation and spare keys when I sold it. The stock tag on the spare stated "MS4 Challenge 30" and the red key had the number 30 in black marker pen on both sides. I know that Ducati had difficulty in achieving a full grid so there may be more of these bikes that were never raced hidden away somewhere!
