For best price it used to be recommended to return them to stock and sell the special bits separately. That allows the new owner to tailor them to their own specification.

You have said previously that you’ve got an original tank, so why not give it a try.

I’m half tempted to take it off your hands and do it myself, but Hamilton’s a bit far north for me: I may get a nose bleed up there!

I've just been to busy to get it done tbh. That will be the step in a couple of weeks when I have some time off.
